We are seeking an experienced Workiva Consultant to support implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement initiatives across the Workiva platform. This individual will partner closely with finance, accounting, internal audit, compliance, ESG, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting and governance solutions that improve accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with finance, accounting, compliance, audit, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate reporting and governance needs into scalable Workiva solutions.
- Support end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and optimization initiatives across the Workiva platform.
- Configure and maintain Workiva reporting solutions, workflows, data integrations, and controls frameworks.
- Develop and support SEC, SOX, ESG, management, and operational reporting processes within Workiva.
- Collaborate with finance transformation, reporting, and technology teams to improve reporting automation, data integrity, and process efficiency.
- Support integration efforts between Workiva and ERP, EPM, data warehouse, and BI platforms.
- Assist with data validation, reconciliations, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot system and reporting issues while coordinating resolution efforts across business and technical teams.
- Create documentation, training materials, governance procedures, and user support resources.
- Contribute to strategic reporting modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with the Workiva platform.
- Experience supporting financial reporting, regulatory reporting, SOX compliance, ESG reporting, or internal audit initiatives.
- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and reporting processes.
- Experience supporting system implementations, reporting transformations, or process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
