Our high-speed, precision metal stamping presses and state-of-the-art gold plating equipment enable us to work with every major auto manufacturer and make us one of the world's leaders in automotive electrical terminals.<br><br>Worksite: Yazaki Northern Michigan<br><br>Location: Petoskey, Michigan, USA<br><br>We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Engineer (Electrical, Controls, Automation) to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the implementation/maintenance of projects having specific technical expertise and an in-depth understanding of the Electrical Engineering discipline, with a focus on Controls and Automation Engineering. The ideal candidate will leverage prior experience and in-depth subject-matter knowledge, and identify new specifications or technical characteristics required for stamping/manufacturing Yazaki products. They will also review and assess existing internal capabilities versus industry trends.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Lead engineering initiatives that improve manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency through technology development and continuous improvement. Provide technical expertise in equipment maintenance, root cause analysis, control system design, and process optimization while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
