<p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>District Manager</strong> to oversee multiple Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) locations throughout the Chicago market. This leader will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing General Managers, improving financial performance, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience across multiple restaurants.</p><p>The ideal candidate has a proven background leading multi-unit restaurant operations within a high-volume QSR environment. <strong>Experience with Wendy's is strongly preferred</strong>, though candidates from other nationally recognized QSR brands will also be considered.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The District Manager is responsible for the overall performance of multiple restaurant locations, ensuring operational standards, profitability, food safety, and team development are consistently achieved. This role partners closely with restaurant leadership to execute business strategies while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Operations Leadership</p><ul><li>Oversee the daily operations of multiple restaurant locations.</li><li>Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, operational procedures, and food safety requirements.</li><li>Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate operations, cleanliness, service, and employee performance.</li><li>Identify operational opportunities and implement action plans to improve restaurant performance.</li></ul><p>Financial Performance</p><ul><li>Drive sales growth and profitability across all assigned locations.</li><li>Monitor and analyze financial reports, including:</li><li>Sales</li><li>Labor</li><li>Food cost</li><li>Controllable expenses</li><li>Profitability</li><li>Develop strategies to improve restaurant financial performance while maintaining excellent guest satisfaction.</li></ul><p>People Development</p><ul><li>Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and restaurant leadership teams.</li><li>Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.</li><li>Build leadership pipelines through succession planning and internal development.</li><li>Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable work environment.</li></ul><p>Guest Experience</p><ul><li>Ensure every restaurant consistently delivers exceptional customer service.</li><li>Resolve escalated guest concerns professionally and efficiently.</li><li>Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p>Compliance & Safety</p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, health department regulations, and food safety standards.</li><li>Maintain OSHA, labor law, and workplace safety compliance.</li><li>Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.</li></ul><p>Business Planning</p><ul><li>Develop and execute district business plans to achieve company goals.</li><li>Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements.</li><li>Analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Required</p><ul><li>3+ years of District Manager or Multi-Unit Manager experience in a Quick Service Restaurant environment.</li><li>Experience overseeing multiple restaurant locations.</li><li>Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility.</li><li>Demonstrated success improving restaurant performance and profitability.</li><li>Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.</li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations.</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li></ul><p>Preferred</p><ul><li><strong>Previous Wendy's District Manager or Multi-Unit leadership experience strongly preferred.</strong></li><li>Experience with other major QSR brands such as McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Arby's, KFC, Popeyes, Sonic, Dairy Queen, or similar high-volume concepts.</li><li>Experience leading high-volume restaurants generating significant annual sales.</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong></p><p>The successful candidate is:</p><ul><li>A hands-on leader who enjoys being in the restaurants coaching teams.</li><li>Results-oriented with strong business and financial acumen.</li><li>Passionate about developing people and building strong leadership teams.</li><li>Able to balance operational excellence with outstanding guest service.</li><li>Comfortable making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Skilled at holding teams accountable while creating a positive and motivating culture.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Base Salary:</strong> $90,000–$100,000</li><li>Performance-based bonus opportunity</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Mileage reimbursement or vehicle allowance (where applicable)</li><li>Career growth and advancement opportunities</li></ul><p><br></p>
