We are seeking a reliable part-time Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will handle day-to-day device repairs and assist customers with their electronics needs. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting and feels comfortable talking to customers to recommend the right repair solutions and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Repair:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Perform standard repairs (screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port fixes, etc.).
Maintain familiarity with major brands like Apple, Samsung, Google, and Motorola.
Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.
Sales & Customer Service:
Greet customers, answer questions, and clearly explain repair options and pricing.
Recommend relevant products, protective cases, accessories, and services based on customer needs.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience from drop-off to pickup.
Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Assist with tracking inventory and reporting low stock on parts or accessories.
Use the store’s POS system to log repairs and process payments.
Sales Expectations:
Achieve individual sales targets for repairs, device sales, and accessories.
Maintain high conversion rates on walk-in customers.
Upsell protection plans, accessories, and additional services.
Contribute to overall store revenue growth.
Qualifications:
0–1 years of hands-on experience repairing smartphones and electronics.
Solid understanding of iOS and Android software and hardware.
Comfortable in a customer-facing role with basic retail or sales experience.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently during your shift.
